Will of John Simpson, dated 1588. This Will was witnessed by a Robert Grisenthwaite. [Note: John Simpson is no relation, but his will was found by me at Carlisle Records Office, and mentions a Robert Grisenthwaite who witnessed the Will (one of four sworn men). It is believed that the Robert G mentioned was not Robert born c1575 as he would only have been 13 years old at the time].
